The Etoile Phase II Project extends the life of mine. Ore will be processed through newly constructed sulphide and mixed ore flotation and roaster plants. These plants are designed to treat oxide, mixed and sulphide ores, thereby extending the life of mine by 9 years. The Etoile Phase II project represents an investment of approximately $160 million, with production commencing in Q3 2023.

This will sustain the production capacity of Etoile at 5kt per annum of Cobalt content in cobalt hydroxide and 25kt of A-grade copper cathode per annum.
